Golden’s diet needs to be adjusted according to age: 1. 45 days to 2 and a half months old: this period is just after weaning, so it is recommended to feed wet dog food, each time the amount can be kept at 20 grams, 3-4 times a day; 2. 3 months to 6 months old: this is the Golden’s rapid growth period, so the daily amount needs to be increased, all replaced by dry dog food, each time 150-200 grams, 3 times a day 3. 6 months to adult: feed 300 grams per meal, 2 times a day, after adult, keep 1-2 meals per day, about 650 grams per meal. Most of the feeding times of the young Golden follow the rules of less food and more meals, so the younger the Golden, the less the amount of feeding each time, the more times, and then as the age increases, gradually reduce the number of feeding times and increase the amount of feeding. One thing to note is that between 2-3 months, it is best to give the puppy a transition period, the amount of goat milk or warm water in the wet dog food is reduced and gradually replaced with dry dog food, do not quickly replace, the puppy may have gastrointestinal discomfort.
