Labradors only come in black, yellow, and brown, and they are solid colors. Purebred Labradors do not come in other colors, or appear mixed with other colors. The one exception is that a black Labrador may have some white hair on its chest, but definitely not much. The Labrador’s tail is rather peculiar, thick and straight, but facing downward. It is usually rarely raised upwards, much less with a curled tail. If you have a Labrador with a tail that curls up, the dog is probably not a purebred. Purebred Labradors have very large paws, and even when the dog is small, or if the dog is very thin, you can feel the large bones on the paws. Also, whether the dog is an adult or a puppy, the dog’s front limbs do not turn outward.
