How to select the better quality of a Whippet The Whippet’s ears are rose-shaped, small and delicate. The Whippet’s ears will stretch back when at rest, and if the Whippet appears alert it will have the phenomenon of folded ears. If the ears are usually standing, it means that the breed is not pure. The Whippet has very straight front limbs, well developed hind limbs, and curved muscles that look very flat. If the joints are inwardly curved or turned out, the breed is not pure. A good quality Whippet will be gentle and friendly, treating its owner and strangers with a sense of affection. A poorer quality dog will be more irritable and less approachable.
