Where is the origin of the Equine Dog? The Horse Dog, known as the “Malinois”, is native to Belgium and is one of the Belgian Shepherd Dogs. With a high IQ, agile body and excellent obedience, the Horse Dog is far more trainable than other working dogs. The appearance of the Malinois is well-proportioned and smooth, with a well-defined head and a size proportional to the body, with an ideal head length of 24.5 cm for males and 24 cm for females. The eyes of the Equine are light fawn in color with medium sized, almond shaped eyeballs. The coat is straight and stiff, light fawn to reddish brown in color, with black tips.
